I bought this motor for a belt grinder. The motor is super powerful, quiet and very well built. I had no trouble setting everything up with the included instructions. I feel like this motor is a tremendous value. Ive been running is for several weeks now and I have yet to even feel the case get warm. I think its overkill for a knife grinder but who ever said "its too much power"!!!! Love this motor and VFD combo.
