Compressor Duty

Compressor Duty Motors (ODP) are high quality motors designed to meet the high torque requirements of air compressor loads. Special electrical and mechanical design guarantees reliable service and longer motor life.

Features that make a difference-Single Phase:

  • Class B insulation
  • Start Capacitor
  • Ball bearings
  • Manual reset thermal overload protection
  • High starting torque
  • Rolled steel frames have base seam welded to the frame for heavy duty use

Features that make a difference-Three Phase:

  • Class F insulation (Impregnation resin and magnet wire are Class H)
  • Class B rise at 1.15 service factor
  • F1 mounted (Cast iron frame motors are F2 convertible)
  • Regreasable ball bearings (Cast iron frames)
  • Rolled steel frames: ZZ ball bearings (permanently lubricated)
